T. Rowe Price and FEAL launch leadership program
Global asset manager T. Rowe Price has teamed up with professional development group for the super industry Fund Executives Association Ltd (FEAL) to launch a leadership program for the funds management industry.
Called the National Resilience Program, the initiative will include keynotes at FEAL events, workshops, online materials and a resilience scholarship awarded to the fund that shows commitment to personal growth and learning within the organisation.
"Executives in super funds have had an unprecedented level of change thrust upon them in recent years including regulatory change, fee pressures, and volatile market conditions," FEAL CEO Joanna Davison said.
"The increasing incidence of stress in our lives affects our ability to perform on a sustainable basis."
The leadership team of the fund that wins will get a full day workshop on resilient leadership, led by CEO of strategic leadership development firm Rezilium Kamal Sarma.
T.Rowe Price head of relationship management in Australia and New Zealand Murray Brewer will work with Sarma in the workshop.
