After an extensive search process, the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) has filled the key position of director of policy and industry practice left vacant by the departure earlier this year of Brad Pragnell.

ASFA announced late last week that it had appointed the former director of superannuation and retirement products for BT Financial Group, Melinda Howes, to the role.

Howes started in her new role on Monday.
