Independent mid-cap specialist mid-cap manager Concise Asset Management has been awarded an Australian equities mandate by JANA Implemented Consulting.

The mandate, which will sit on JANA’s implemented consulting platform, represents a significant inroad for Concise, which has been running a single strategy mid-cap solution for two years.

Commenting on the mandate, Concise chief executive David Parr said it represented a recognition of the company’s specialist mid-cap expertise.

Parr declined to specify the size of the mandate but said it was “reasonably large”.
