CommInsure is introducing a broader set of definitions under which customers can claim for total disability and is also launching a new income protection platinum product as part of an agenda to expand its product offerings.

CommInsure has introduced a domestic duties category to its total and permanent disablement cover, and updated the medical definitions across its trauma and income protection products.

“Income protection platinum provides great flexibility for customers both to claim and to help make their return to work as seamless as possible,” he said.

Crapis said the income protection platinum opened on 17 September and had been independently assessed.
