 
 
                                     
                                                                                                                                                        
                            Former Credit Suisse and Ord Minnett staffer Richard Close is joining NAB Asset Management partner firm, Antares Equities as a senior member of its institutional distribution team.
Commenting on the appointment, Antares Equities general manager, Brendan Donohue said: “We’re extremely pleased to have Richard join our institutional team.”
“He brings a wealth of equities investment and institutional distribution experience to the firm, which makes him ideally suited to developing deeper partnerships and delivering superior investment solutions to the institutional market.”
In his most recent role, Close held the position of director – institutional equities with Philip Capital and completed a ten-month stint before that as a senior adviser with Ord Minnett. He also spent six years with Schroders between 1993 and 1999 in Sydney, London and New York City, and has held senior roles with Deutsche Bank in London and Citi in Sydney.
Close would commence the Melbourne-based position in November.
