After more than 30 years with Colonial First State (CFS), Scott Tully is set to join Rest Super.

He would lead the superannuation fund’s investment options team, the fund confirmed, and would join on a six-month contract.

As executive director, investments at CFS, Tully had previously been responsible for CFS’ range of multi-manager, multi-index, life stage, and index portfolios which exceeded $60 billion in assets managed.

He had left the role mid-2022.

Rest Super had also expanded its investment team with the appointment of Paul Docherty as head of portfolio construction and research.

Docherty would make the move from Spirit Super, where he was the general manager, strategy and risk.

In this new role, he would be responsible for enhancing the super fund’s investment strategy and asset allocation capabilities.
