Equip has appointed Pippa Leary, as a member director of the fund, filling a casual member director vacancy.
Leary's career in digital strategy, marketing, and social media would be a valuable addition to the board's capability in the communications space, Equip's Chair, Andrew Fairley, said.
He said the firm was "challenged with delivering leading edge services and communications through sophisticated technology platforms in order to remain relevant and accessible to our members."
"Joining Equip present a special opportunity for me to help realise the fund's ambition to substantially develop its digital strategy and platforms, as well as bring marketing insights and perspectives to Equip's strategic planning," Leary said.
Leary is currently chief executive of Apex Premium Exchange — a joint venture between Fairfax and NEC — and a non-executive director of Solstice Media. Previously, she led teams and projects in executive positions with Fairfax Digital and Ninemsn.
