Former National Australia Bank (NAB) executive general manager for asset servicing, Christine Bartlett, has been appointed to the GBST board of directors.
After leaving her NAB post in March, Bartlett will now use her experience in finance, banking, superannuation, property, and information technology to the specialist financial services technology provider.
Commenting on the appointment GBST's chairman, John Puttick, said Bartlett's skills and experience complement its existing board members.
"Her wealth of experience in the IT and financial services sector will bring exciting additional counsel to our business as we continue to build upon the international growth we are experiencing in the regions we operate in," Puttick said.
Bartlett is currently an independent non-executive director of the Mirvac Group and The Smith Family, and is a member of Chief Executive Women, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the UNSW Australian School of Business Advisory Board.
