Ex-UniSuper CIO joins PwC

Former UniSuper chief investment officer David St John has joined PwC as an advisor in its consulting division investment team.

St John will help the investment team provide investment and investment governance services to institutional clients.

St John has spent most of his 30-year career in the financial services sector, and has held directorships and senior executive roles in superannuation, asset consulting and insurance companies.

During his eight years at UniSuper, St. John invested heavily in public and private assets, and helped set up one of the first in-house investment teams in the super industry.

He has also worked at William M Mercer as principal and world-wide partner.
