Local Government Super (LGS) has appointed Sutherland City Council Councillor, Greg McLean, as a director, replacing Jim Montague on the board effective from earlier this month.
McLean would bring years of directorship experience at several corporate and not-for-profit organisations to the role, as well as expertise in superannuation, financial management, social and competition policy, and industrial relations.
At LGS, he would sit on the Governance, Remuneration and Nomination Committee, Member Services Committee, and Risk Committee.
“We are pleased to welcome Greg McLean to the LGS Board. Greg has spent 40 years representing working Australians and we look forward to drawing on his extensive experience so we can continue the strong growth of our super fund and the retirement savings of our members,” LGS chair, Bruce Miller, said.
