LGsuper gets new chair

Industry fund, LGsuper has this week announced the appointment of a new chairperson — experienced Queensland-based director, Bronwyn Morris.

The fund announced that Morris. Who has been an independent director with LGsuper since December last year, will take up her position from 1 October.

With a background that includes publicly-listed, government and not-for-profit sectors and spanning a range of industries, Morris is currently Deputy Chairman of Children's Health Foundation Queensland and a director of RACQ, Collins Foods Limited and Care Australia.

Her previous directorships include QIC Limited, Spotless Group Limited and Chairman of Queensland Rail.

Morris is a chartered accountant and former partner of KPMG.

She succeeds Brian Roebig who has been chair of the fund for 19 years.
