NAB hires new asset servicing GM

NAB Asset Servicing has appointed former NextGen director Christine Bartlett to the role of executive general manager of Asset Servicing, Wholesale Banking.

Bartlett led the NextGen executive program for three years and was pivotal in the delivery of several key initiatives, including the migration of 300,000 UBank customers to the new core banking platform.

Current executive general manager of Asset Servicing Leigh Watson will take on a new role within Asset Servicing which would be announced shortly, NAB said.

During his four-year tenure as executive general manager, Watson grew assets under custody by 20 per cent.
The pair will report to NAB group executive, wholesale banking, Rick Sawers.
