NSW-based electricity industry fund, Energy Industry Super Scheme (EISS) has appointed a new chief investment officer.
The fund announced this week that former Suncorp Group executive manager, investments, Ross Etherington had been appointed to the CIO role.
Confirming the appointment, EISS chief executive, Alex Hutchison said Etherington brought with him extensive investment and superannuation industry expertise and would lead the fund's investment team to ensure that members were well placed for the future.
EISS had been recruiting for a new CIO following the departure of Matt Olsen earlier this year. Olsen has subsequently been appointed as a chief executive at Lonsec Research.
