Richard Rassi has been appointed to three of MLC's superannuation fund trustee boards.
Rassi has joined the boards of MLC Nominees, NULIS Nominees (Australia) and PFS Nominees, which have 1.5 million members and approximately $56 billion in funds under management combined.
Rassi was pivotal in the development of Deloitte's superannuation assurance and advisory services business before retiring in 2011, MLC said.
Rassi spent 34 years with Deloitte Australia and held the position of director and chairman of Deloitte Super.
He is a member of the Stronger Super working group, deputy president of the Accounting Foundation at the University of Sydney, and is a member and past chairman of the Superannuation Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
He will also chair MLC's finance and audit committee.
NAB Wealth Super Trustee Board chairman Geoff Webb said Rassi would be a great asset to the board.
"Richard has extensive wealth management experience and significant credentials in superannuation, including as the lead auditor of some of Australia's largest funds in the public and private sectors," he said.
