SuperConcepts has appointed Grant Christensen as its chief executive following the departure of Lara Bourguignon at the end of 2020.

Christensen had been working as interim chief executive for the past six months and had worked at the firm for 15 years but the role had now been made permanent following an extensive selection process.

AMP Australia director, platforms, Edwina Maloney, said: “Grant’s appointment will mean a seamless transition and no disruption to our customers and, with his extensive experience, Grant will provide stability and entrepreneurship to the SuperConcepts team.

“This appointment marks an exciting new chapter for SuperConcepts and the board is looking forward to working with Grant to ensure SuperConcepts continues to grow as Australia’s largest SMSF provider.”

Christensen said: “Our company has a history and passion not matched by many in our Industry, and I am excited to lead our staff into this next chapter of our growth,” he said.

“My focus is on our clients and challenging the complexity and costs of running an SMSF through continued innovation using our unique position as the leading SMSF provider.”
