Global asset manager AllianceBernstein is bringing in Sasho Bogoevski as managing director - institutional relationships.
Bogoevski, who has been based in the London office since 2004, will assume the role fully later in the year, and will be visiting Australia frequently in the meantime to meet clients.
He is set to host a forum at the Conference of Major Superannuation Funds on the Gold Coast late this month.
“[Sasho] brings great depth of experience and a successful track record at AllianceBernstein and elsewhere, and his relocation to this market underscores AllianceBernstein’s commitment to the institutional sector in Australia,” CEO of AllianceBernstein Australia Jen Driscoll said.
Bogoevski was a director at Lazard Asset Management in London from 2002 to 2004, where he looked after client service and sales in the UK and parts of Europe.
He was head of business development for the same company between 1996 and 2002. Prior to that he was a senior investment consultant with Mercer and Jacques Martin Hewitt in Australia, and a director at Prudential Corporate Markets.
“Having worked as a consultant in Australia early in my career and taken some of the pioneering work we did in this country to the UK and Europe, I now look forward to bringing back some of the insights I gleaned from the northern hemisphere,” he said.
