Asteron Life has appointed a national key accounts and group risk manager.
The firm appointed OnePath's Daniel Waller, who will be responsible for leading Asteron Life's relationships with licensees and Suncorp Life's Group Risk business.
He will report to Asteron Life executive manager Mark Vilo.
"Daniel has broad expertise in multiple disciplines across life risk, asset management, platforms and banking," Vilo said.
"In particular, he has an exceptional reputation for solid relationships with the senior management teams of our AFSL partners.
"With Daniel leading our National Key Accounts team and Group Risk business, it gives us the opportunity to look holistically at growth opportunities to drive our strategy for high performing partnerships into the licensee marketplace."
Waller will join the firm on 1 July. He is currently National Strategic Account Manager at OnePath.
