Certitude Global Investments has appointed BNP Paribas Securities as custodian and administrator for 14 unit trusts with combined assets under management of $1 billion.
"After a very thorough analysis of the market we found BNP Paribas' large and ongoing investments in both people and technology solutions was very important to us and appointing them has allowed us to future-proof our operations as a part of our growth strategy," Certitude CEO Craig Mowll said.
Head of BNP Paribas Securities Services Australia and New Zealand Peter Baker said the company would partner with Certitude to "optimise their operations, minimise their risks, and enhance their performance wherever possible".
"We look forward to supporting Certitude's future growth in Australia and globally as well as supporting the local asset management sector," he said.
Certitude has brought global investment products to Australia including Threadneedle Investments (UK), Lighthouse Investment Partners LLC (US) and GaveKal Capital Limited (Hong Kong) and Columbia Management Investment Advisers LLC (US).
