NGS Super has surprised the superannuation industry with two key appointments – NESS Super chief executive, Angie Mastrippolito will become chief operating officer while Deloitte’s Ben Facer will become chief risk and governance officer.
The appointments have been confirmed to Super Review by NGS Super chief executive, Anthony Rodwell-Ball who said he believed they would add deep experience and capability to the fund’s management ranks.
He said Mastrippolito had an outstanding background in the superannuation industry gathered during her more than five years at NESS Super and before that her time at both Mercer and Willis Towers Watson as a superannuation consultant.
Facer has extensive superannuation industry experience having worked as a consultant at both Mercer and Deloitte.
Rodwell-Ball said the appointments would help underpin NGS Super’s next period of growth.
