Class Super has launched a cloud-based self-managed super fund (SMSF) administration platform that can be used across computers, tablets and smartphones.

Announcing the launch at a luncheon in Sydney, Class Super said the application is the first fully featured browser-based application for SMSFs.

The application uses a new user interface (UI) that is adaptable to any screen size so that customers can access all the features using any web browser.

Customers can still use the existing Windows application.

“Most importantly, the browser-based UI is a complete, end-to-end SMSF solution,” Class Super CEO David Smith said.

“It provides access to all the features available in our popular Windows application including direct-connect data feeds, actuarial certificate integration, automatic property valuations, and support for bulk transactions, pensions, activity statements, tax lodgements directly to the ATO and client access.”

The application uses multi-tiered architecture and has about 45,000 funds at present.

Class Super used independent consultants for external assistance and spent the last five-to-six months on this project.

The new application was trialled by a preview group of six users. An induction group of 12 people will be previewing the platform next week.

The company plans to roll out the application for general use by early March.
