GBST Holdings announced it has gone live with its SuperStream Gateway for superannuation rollover and contribution transactions.

The gateway offering will be used by a range of funds as well as six self-managed super fund service providers.

This includes cloud-based SMSF administration software provider Class Super.

The gateway offering means GBST's clients are ready to receive SuperStream standard employer superannuation contributions from today, meaning employers can give employee superannuation contributions in a standard electronic format to funds.

"We are proud to be first to market with our SuperStream Gateway contributions capability — what is in essence the final piece of the SuperStream puzzle," CEO of GBST Wealth Rob De Dominicis said.

GBST SuperStream Gateway is one of eight gateways.
