Which funds boast the most satisfied members?
Well according to data released late last month by the Chief Executive of Roy Morgan Research, Michele Levy people with their own self managed superannuation fund are most satisfied with their arrangements, followed by members of public sector funds such as CSS/PSS, followed by members of industry funds.
What is more, the Roy Morgan research suggests that those funds boasting the highest satisfaction levels are likely to experience the lowest level of churn following the implementation of choice.
What will be pleasing to the big retail master trusts is that the Roy Morgan data suggests that the best of them are only marginally behind the industry funds in terms of satisfaction levels.
For the record the Roy Morgan data provides the satisfaction levels as follows:
* Self Managed Superannuation Funds 73.6 per cent
* Government Superannuation Funds 56.3 per cent
* Industry funds 48.7 per cent
* Best retail master trust 47.5 per cent
