The Commonwealth Bank's (CBA's) corporate superannuation fund, Officers' Super Fund (OSF), has appointed Doug Carmichael as chief executive effective from 21 June.

Carmichael is a former president of the Canadian Australian chamber of commerce and was also general manager of Australia Administration Services. He has previously held roles at TD Bank, Citigroup and AAS.

The appointment completes a senior reshuffle at the OSF following the appointment of Gerard Parlevliet as chief investment officer last month, according to CBA.

OSF represents more than 60,000 current and former employees of the Commonwealth Bank and their families.
