CommInsure has appointed new general managers to its wholesale life and business services lines effective 12 July, concluding a restructure to its new line of business model, which included the creation of four new general manager roles to head CommInsure's various business lines.
CommInsure’s current general manager of life operations, Claire Roberts, will take the position of general manager, wholesale life, while current head of marketing, Michael Browne, has been appointed general manager, business services.
The general insurance line of business will retain its existing general manager, Paul Fahey.
“The five pillar stones are now in place for each of our dedicated lines of business and we are now highly focused on each of our customer segments,” said CommInsure managing director Paul Rayson.
Roberts joined the group in 2001 in the finance and risk management business unit with responsibility for business planning and investment advisory activities and has been in her current role since December 2007.
Browne joined Commonwealth Bank in January 2007 as head of marketing for CommInsure. He has more than 25 years experience in financial services and has held previous general management positions within operations, sales, product management and marketing.
