Deutsche Asset Management has appointed Simon Brinsmead as an investment specialist. He will focus on developing Deutsche's consultant and institutional fixed income client relationships in Australia.
Brinsmead has 10 years of experience in the asset management industry, including six years as an investment research analyst. He also managed research relationships for BlackRock.
Deutsche Asset Management chief executive Stephen O'Brien said that Brinsmead's technical skills, combined with his relationship management experience, would be well received by Deutsche's growing institutional client base.
