Bank of Melbourne Private has appointed Jonathan Ayres as its new head.
Ayres has over 10 years of experience in senior banking roles where he has dealt with high-net-worth clients. His past roles include head of financial planning for NAB Private and senior investment specialist with NABInvest.
General manager of private wealth at BT Financial Group Jane Watts said Ayres would help drive the growth of Bank of Melbourne Private in Victoria.
"Jonathan has a proven track record in wealth management. In particular, he has a strong private banking background, strategic financial advisory experience and a deep understanding of wealth management and the needs of high-net-wealth clients," Watts said.
Ayres said that he was looking forward to "helping high-net-wealth Victorians manage, protect and grow their wealth".
