FuturePlus Financial Services has announced a new appointment that it says will strengthen its position as a third party administrator for superannuation funds.
Hayden King will join FuturePlus in the newly created role of general manager for operations, and will be responsible for "delivering industry-competitive administration services", according to FuturePlus.
FuturePlus managing director Madeline Dermatossian said King's deep understanding of technical and regulatory issues would improve the company's investment and superannuation administration.
"King's past success in the development and alignment of people, products, processes and systems will be a key attribute as FuturePlus develops its offering as a third party administrator of super funds," Dermatossian said.
King will oversee FuturePlus' administration, financial planning and paraplanning divisions - along with the Program Delivery Office.
In his 25 years of experience in the industry King has held roles with MLC, Colonial First State, Challenger Financial Services and Macquarie Bank.
His new role will commence on 31 October.
