ING Australia has appointed former PSI Group chief executive Paul Kolatchew as its business development manager, reporting to the national sales manager for group risk.

Kolatchew has 38 years experience in financial services, the last 10 years of which he spent as chief executive of superannuation administration firm PSI Group.

In this new role, Kolatchew will be responsible for increasing ING Group Risk's market presence with superannuation funds and major employer groups.

ING Australia head of group risk Robin Knight said the appointment is key to ING’s growth strategy, which includes plans to launch a number of new initiatives in 2010.
