The Trust Company has signed up to use the IRESS Portfolio System for its wholesale funds management.
The Trust Company’s general manager, funds management and product development, Steven Marsh said The Trust Company thoroughly investigated the services in the market and found the IRESS system most attractive because it could be easily integrated into The Trust Company’s existing systems.
They were also able to tailor the reporting package to the fund’s needs, while the training and ongoing support services offered by IRESS were also a factor, he said.
Other fund managers to have recently signed on to the IRESS portfolio system include Antares Capital, JCP Investment Partners and Aviva Investors, IRESS stated.
Many managers now also seek to use the IRESS system to service a growing retail client base through managed accounts because of its integration to financial planning advice technologies, according to IRESS.
