JANA Investment Advisers has appointed Claire Simpson as a consultant within its direct investments team, bringing the number of JANA’s alternative assets specialists to 16.
Simpson will focus on identifying and reviewing potential investment opportunities and helping clients manage their unlisted portfolios, according to JANA.
Simpson has previously worked at Access Capital Advisers, at Commonwealth Bank in structured finance and at PricewaterhouseCoopers in taxation.
“JANA has been assisting clients for a number of years with their direct investment portfolios, including private equity, infrastructure and property assets located both domestically and globally,” said JANA chief executive Ian Patrick.
“We are pleased to offer clients an integrated traditional advisory and specialist alternatives capability,” he added.
