ING Australia has launched a wholesale version of its Diversified Fixed Interest Fund and has signalled its intention to issue a wholesale version of its Diversified High Yield Fund in early July.
ING manager of investment strategies Cameron Vallve says the decision to launch the products in the wholesale arena follows their recent strong performances.
ING says that since its inception almost three years ago, the Diversified Fixed Interest fund has returned 6.85 per cent per annum with the fund significantly outperforming the index.
The ING Diversified High Yield Fund was launched in September, last year, and has returned 6.64 per cent over the last six months.
Vallve says ING is now recording consistently strong investment performance in cash and fixed interest, largely because of the fixed interest management team which has been in place since June 2002, that combined the best of the pre joint venture ANX and ING teams.
