New CFO for ESS Super

ESS Super has recruited a former Aviva Australia senior executive as its new chief financial officer.

The fund announced that it appointed Mark Puli to the position following the promotion of Michael Dundon to the chief executive role.

Puli, who has more than 20 years' experience in financial services, held a range of roles at Aviva Australia involving strategy, mergers and acquisitions and platform accounting.

Announcing the appointment this week, Dundon said it had followed an extensive search process.
