Pillar loses Prime Super

Pillar Administration is understood to have lost its superannuation administration mandate with Prime Super.

Super Review understands that Prime Super will be moving the administration mandate to Russell Investments after completing a tender process earlier this month.

The loss of the Prime Super mandate by Pillar follows from its loss last year of its administration mandate with Media Super.

Pillar, which maintains a call centre in Wollongong, has been well regarded by a number of fund clients because of its commitment to local employment in NSW — an issue likely to be raised with whichever party is elected at this weekend’s State Election.

While Pillar, Super Partners and Australian Administration Services each maintain onshore call centre operations, a number of other providers utilise offshore arrangements.
