Big Queensland fund QSuper has strengthened its investment committee with the addition of Michael Rice, Ian Macoun and Michael Drew.
QSuper chief executive Rosemary Vilgan said the addition of Rice, Macoun and Drew reflected the fund's belief that significant benefits could be gained from greater investment expertise.
Rice, who is the principal of Rice Warner Actuaries, has been appointed as chair of the committee.
Macoun is currently chair of Pinnacle Investments while Drew was formerly the general manager of investment services at QSuper before becoming Professor of Finance at Griffith University.
The other members of the investment committee are QSuper trustees Steve Ryan, Bob Scheuber, John Carpendale and Natalie MacDonald.
