Russell Investments has secured a new head for its investment consulting business in Australia.
Greg Liddell, formally of Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC), has been appointed to the position, which will see him focus on investment consulting in Australia as part of Russell’s restructured global consulting business.
Liddell, who will be based in Sydney, will also join Russell’s global consulting leadership team.
Prior to QIC, Liddell spent 10 years at Mercer Investment Consulting, where he was most recently head of fund manager research for Australia and New Zealand.
“Greg brings a valuable combination of traditional consulting experience with hands-on investment expertise gained from managing one of Australia’s largest portfolios of assets,” Russell managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Chris Corneil said.
