Schroder Investment Management Australia has announced two appointments to its institutional and retail sales teams.
Kerrie Howard will join Schroders as institutional client director, to be based in Melbourne. Howard has more than 25 years financial services experience and was most recently director of institutional sales at ABN Amro/Fortis. She also worked at BNP Paribas and ANZ Asset Management.
“[Howard] is a highly experienced and respected distribution professional in a part of the market which has grown significantly for Schroders in recent years,” said Schroders’ head of institutional sales, Ray Macken.
Chris Boyd will join the retail sales team as research relationship manager from 1 November and will be based in Sydney. He joins Schroders from Tyndall Investment Management, where he was most recently an investment specialist. He has also worked in investment research and relationship roles with Asteron, Aegis Equities Research and MLC.
Schroders’ head of retail sales, David Hallifax, said Boyd’s experience across domestic and international equities, fixed income and multi-asset would make him an excellent fit within the Schroders team.
