StateStreet Global Advisors (SSgA), which is celebrating 20 years of operations in Australia, achieved a milestone this month, announcing that it had assets under management on behalf of Australian clients now exceeding $60 billion.
Managing director of SSgA in Australia attributed the company’s strong growth to its comprehensive array of investment products and solid service offerings.
“Assets under management are just one benchmark of our success” he said. “Our single-minded focus on managing money for institutional investors, coupled with our ability to help clients produce reliable returns at an attractive cost, have helped us grow this position and experience strong and enduring client relationships.”
SSgA first established a Sydney office in 1986 and has grown to now service more than 300 institutional clients in Australia and New Zealand.
