State Street has furthered its reach in the superannuation sector with the appointment of two senior staff.
Daniel Cheever will take on the newly created role of head of superannuation for the Global Services business, while another new role, head of sales and client management, will be filled by Richard Coia.
Coia has 17 years of sales and relationship management experience and joins the State Street team from National Australia Bank’s asset servicing division.
As head of sales and client management, Coia will focus on large industry funds, superannuation funds and investment managers when implementing new sales strategies.
He will be based in Melbourne and will report to head of sales, Greg O’Sullivan, and head of client relationship management, Stephanie Lanigan.
Cheever has been a relationship manager at State Street for seven years, and will now assume direct responsibility for the ongoing strategy of expanding the company’s servicing footprint in the superannuation market.
