Nominations and submissions have opened for this year’s Super Fund of the Year Awards.
Now in its 12th year, the annual Super Fund of the Year Awards returns to once again provide an unparalleled awards program recognising the top businesses and professionals in the sector.
Run in partnership with principal partner Acenda (previously MLC Life Insurance), the awards identify the top-performing financial professionals across superannuation, from super fund trustees and executives to group insurance specialists and custodians, in an exclusive program that rewards excellence.
There are 21 categories on offer this year, with professionals invited to submit an entry or nominate a worthy colleague in the two submission-based categories by Friday, 5 September 2025.
The first of the submission-based categories celebrates an Industry Thought Leader of the Year, while the second champions a leading marketing, PR, or communications professional in the Marketer of the Year category.
The awards are open to all organisations and professionals supporting Australia’s superannuation industry, including large institutions and funds, boutique challengers, senior executives, and rising stars.
The winners of the remaining 19 categories will be determined by research partner SuperRatings. Click here to review its judging methodology.
These categories span the breadth of the industry, including the best advice offering, digital offering, MyChoice Super, retirement offerings, and sustainable funds.
SuperRatings is Australia’s leading research and rating firm in the superannuation industry, providing everyday Australians with the insights needed to optimise their super.
The research house is a Lonsec company and will add significant value to the awards program through its expertise and by conducting its comprehensive, independent research on super funds.
Winning a Super Fund of the Year award is a prestigious accolade that can set organisations and individuals apart from their competitors, strengthen their position, and unlock new career opportunities within the industry.
The finalists will be announced on Monday, 6 October 2025, so keep an eye out for your name on the list.
Commenting on the awards program, principal partner, Acenda’s chief group insurance officer, Mark Puli, said: “At Acenda, we are deeply committed to driving innovation in everything we do for superannuation funds and their members.
