Superpartners Administration has appointed an interim chief executive officer following the departure of long-serving Frank Gullone, announcing that Peter McNeil would assume the position from the beginning of this week.

McNeil joined Superpartners in November, last year, from health insurer Medibank Private, and previously filled senior management roles with Colonial and tAustralia Pos.

He said his first priority as acting chief executive was to ensure the company’s key strategic initiatives would continue and be successful.

He said Superpartners’ Simpler Super project had now entered the execution phase, and he was confident the company’s systems and staff would be able to deliver the changes effectively and efficiently.
