Unisuper has undertaken a significant restructure, which has seen the departure of three of its longest-serving executive managers.
The restructure, announced by Unisuper chief executive Terry McCredden, sees the immediate departure of the current executive manager for member and employer services, Val Abbott, and the executive manager for technology, Sean Churchward; and the departure in August of the executive manager for marketing and business development, Paul Murphy.
Under the fund’s new structure all member and employer facing teams will be grouped together in a single business unit called advice and services, led by Chris Davies; while all administrative, operational and technical teams will be grouped together into a single business unit called business and technology operations, led by Tony Loprieato.
McCredden said the changes had followed a review of business processes and accountabilities.
