Zurich has moved to grow its group life footprint by acquiring most of the presence of International Underwriting Services (IUS) via the recruitment of the IUS group risk team.
Zurich has confirmed that it has recruited the IUS team led by group risk general manager Phil Collins, including Stuart Rowe, Paul Hawkes, Chenny Suthersan and Suzanne Lee.

"The IUS Life team has built a well respected business in the area of group risk within Australia and represents a perfect fit to further strengthen Zurich's group risk business," he said.
IUS was established nearly a decade ago and built its reputation around the provision of income protection within the award superannuation environment before expanding out into the group life arena via the recruitment of Collins.
