Apostle Asset Management will distribute a new global equity investment strategy on behalf of Edinburgh-based Dundas Global Investors which is aimed squarely at gaining traction in the Australian post-retirement market.
The distribution agreement was confirmed by Apostle Asset Management's Karyn West, who said the company had sought out a boutique income-orientated global equity strategy and that Dundas had fitted the bill.
In an interview with Super Review overnight, Dundas founder Alan McFarlane made no bones about the manner in which the Dundas product was designed to meet the needs of investors looking to continue wealth accumulation in the post-retirement phase.
He said Dundas would seek to do this through strategic global equities selection, with the objective of providing steady, rising dividend income coupled with capital growth.
West explained that the Dundas global portfolio invested in the best public companies from around the world, relying on proprietary research to identify up to 100 with no distinction between developed and emerging markets.
