The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has announced that it has reversed the disqualification of a superannuation fund trustee.
APRA said that it had revoked the disqualification of Ugo Tizi from being a trustee, investment manager or custodian which was announced in early July, last year.
It said Tizi had sought a review of the initial decision under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act and, as a result of that review, the original decision, had been revoked.
Tizi is a director of the trustee of the Wall and Ceiling Staff Superannuation Fund.
