Industry super fund for the higher education sector, UniSuper, has announced Colonial First State’s (CFS) Nicolette Rubinsztein will join its board as an independent director.
Rubinsztein was previously general manager, retirement, at CFS, and has held senior positions at Colonial First State and BT Funds Management.
She has also been the director at the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia for seven years.
UniSuper Chairman, Chris Cuffe, welcomed the appointment, saying she had more than 20 years’ executive experience in the wealth industry across retail, institutional and insurance markets.
“Nicolette’s track record of successful product innovation and strategy development, along with her longstanding contribution to policy advocacy and the evolution of the industry are well known,” said Cuffe.
Rubinsztein begins her role at UniSuper on 1 December.
UniSuper’s board has 11 directors, including Cuffe, Rubinsztein, and Ian Martin as independent directors.
