Equipsuper Financial Planning has grown its team, opening its first interstate office in Sydney’s CBD and appointing Kristine Spiteri to head it.
It comes after the firm launched a regional office in Victoria last year, headed up by Michael Fitzpatrick in Bendigo.
Equip’s executive officer, member relationships Justin Sadler said the Sydney office will operate under its own license from 1 July.
Under the new office, Spiteri will make financial advice accessible to the nearly 20 per cent of Equip members located in NSW and the ACT.
Spiteri was previously at ANZ Bank, where she worked as a financial planner for the past ten years.
She is a senior associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), and has a diploma in financial advising from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Equip Financial Planning has over 1,600 members and more than $1 billion under advice.
