An alliance that shares research on investment managers among member firms, founded by Frontier Advisors and New-York based Segal Rogerscasey, has added London-based actuarial and investment consultancy firm Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP) as its third member.
Formed in 2013, the Global Investment Research Alliance (GIRA) now covers North America, Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. and Europe. It plans to add six more members to cover South America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
"LCP has a long-standing record of achievement in consulting in the UK and Europe," Segal Rogerscasey CEO John DeMairo said.
"Our actuarial colleagues at Sibson Consulting already work closely with LCP in the Multinational Group of Actuaries and Consultants and we are very pleased to welcome them to GIRA."
Frontier Advisors CEO Damian Moloney said the alliance would develop and apply a framework for sharing research and ideas.
"We are aiming to roll out quarterly telephone conferences across specific research areas and business meetings to share broader client and industry issues in early 2014," he said.
"We also provide access to each partner's manager research database."
GIRA was formed to share research on investment managers among members' firms across global regions.
As well as consulting activities, the Alliance carries out periodic forums to discuss global investment trends, client issues and capital market directions.
