Starting this month super fund First Super’s financial advisers will travel to locations around South Australia to meet with members at their homes or workplaces.
The fee for service member offering will be delivered through an arrangement with super financial services provider Industry Fund Services, and independent financial planning dealer group Infocus Wealth Management.
“Getting access to the right financial advice can be challenging for many people who may not have the time of resources to find — and travel to — a good financial planner,” First Super chief executive, Bill Watson, said.
“Being an industry fund for the forestry and timber products sector, many of our members live in regional areas. We wanted to help our members, no matter where they live, have access to the best possible advice about their finances in retirement.”
The service will initially be rolled out in South Australia and has plans to extend to other states.
