AMP Capital will undergo an internal restructure to adapt to changed market conditions, marrying the international business division and client product and marketing team under a new 'global clients leadership' team headed by Anthony Fasso.
An overarching structure for the global clients team was announced internally on Tuesday, although new roles will be decided over the coming months, a representative said.
They said the team will bring together accountability for sales, client relationships and the delivery of product to the market.
Fasso has taken on the new role, leaving his post as AMP Capital's director of international business, which has been swallowed up by the restructure.
Kerry Ching has left her position as country head for Fidelity in Hong Kong to join AMP's new team as managing director of Asia ex-Japan and China, based in Hong Kong.
Ching will build on AMP's new Asian equities team, managing institutional relationships and overseeing business development in the region.
She has over 20 years' investment management experience and held roles with UBS Global Asset Management and INVESCO.
Fasso will spend the next month talking to staff and nailing down the details.
