The IQ Business Group has launched a new solution to help superannuation trustee boards operate more efficiently in the areas of communication and administration.
The Trustee Office Solution, which is based on Microsoft SharePoint technology, enhances communication between board members and streamlines administrative records to improve governance.
It does this by assisting with preparation of board documentation, recording board meeting items and tasks, and tracking tasks allocated to individual board members.
Each board member also has a personalised dashboard which tracks tasks, provides calendar updates and gives secure access to board and sub-committee documentation through a cloud application if desired.
The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) chief executive Fiona Reynolds said the solution directly addresses the benefits of technology for our members and their clients.
“This not only has the capacity to raise the benchmark of board administration in Australia, it reinforces that we have industry participants that are proactively reforming superannuation industry operations,” Reynolds said.
